What We Build

Bathrooms Built for the Coast

Primary baths for full-time residents, guest baths for visiting family, and condo and rental baths that take a beating every summer.

01

Walk-In Showers

Tub-to-shower conversions with a low curb or no curb, a niche, a bench, and glass, so nobody has to step over a tub wall to shower.

02

Aging-in-Place Bathrooms

Curbless showers, grab bars on blocking, comfort-height toilets, handheld showers, walk-in tubs, and wider doorways, built before they are needed instead of after a fall.

03

Condo and Rental Baths

Durable tile and fixtures, quick turnaround between bookings, and the association approvals and building rules handled by us.

04

Guest Baths

A new tub and surround, vanity, and floor for the bath your visiting family uses, usually done in a few weeks.

05

Floors and Waterproofing

Tiled showers on a waterproof membrane and floor tile set over an uncoupling membrane like Schluter Ditra, which is what we used on our Robertsdale bath.

06

Ventilation for Salt Air

Fans ducted all the way outside and finishes rated for humidity, because near the Gulf a bathroom without ventilation grows mold fast.

An Accessible Primary Bath in Robertsdale

A walk-in tub, a new toilet, and 12x24 porcelain floor tile over a Schluter Ditra membrane. Both drains had to move, so the slab was saw-cut and re-poured after the plumbing rough-in. A new exhaust fan and light, threshold ramps, and an accessible counter finish the room. Under contract since June 2026.

A Bathroom Accessibility Upgrade in Daphne

A smart toilet with an integrated bidet on its own GFCI circuit, a widened bathroom doorway, swing-clear hinges on four doors, a sliding barn door into the primary bath, and grab bars on new blocking. Plumbing and electrical permits pulled. Under contract since August 2026.

What a Bathroom Remodel Costs in Foley and South Baldwin

In south Baldwin, accessibility features and condo logistics move the price as much as tile does.

Typical Price Ranges

Finish levelHall or guest bathPrimary bath
EssentialsQuality materials, current footprint kept$9,000 to $16,500$16,500 to $27,500
CustomTile shower or tub surround, new vanity and top, upgraded fixtures$16,500 to $27,500$27,500 to $50,500
LuxuryCurbless or walk-in shower, frameless glass, double vanity, layout changes$27,500 to $46,000$50,500 to $78,000

We quote the same ranges in Baldwin and Mobile County. Grab bar blocking, curbless drains, and condo logistics are priced into your fixed estimate after the walkthrough, so nothing is added once work starts.

What Moves the Price

01

Accessibility Features

A curbless shower needs the floor recessed or the drain lowered, and grab bars need blocking in the wall. They cost less built in during a remodel than added later.

02

Condo Logistics

Elevator reservations, work-hour limits, and long carries from the parking deck add labor we count in the estimate.

03

Glass, Valves and Tile

Frameless glass and large-format tile raise the price. A thermostatic valve and a handheld shower are the upgrades we recommend first.

★★★★★Google Review

"Wise Builders recently renovated our bathroom (floor, walls, ceiling, trim, vanity, vent, outlets) and did a fantastic job! Not one time did I have to ask them to go back and fix something that was not right. They were also very helpful in finding the best solution when we encountered some unforeseen issues."

How It Works

From Walkthrough to Turnover

Whether you live here full time or visit a few weeks a year, your bathroom remodel runs through one contract, one project manager, and one fixed price.

01

Step 1. Walkthrough at the Property

We meet you at the house or condo, or meet your property manager and walk you through it by video if you are out of town.

02

Step 2. Written Scope and Fixed Price

Every task, allowance, and exclusion in writing with one fixed price you can approve from anywhere.

03

Step 3. Approvals Before Demolition

For condos, we submit the association's approval package and certificates of insurance before work is scheduled.

04

Step 4. Permits

We file with the department that has your address: the City of Foley Building Department inside Foley city limits, the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach building departments on the beach, and Baldwin County for unincorporated addresses like Elberta, Bon Secour, and Lillian. For condos we also handle the association's approval and the certificates of insurance the building manager asks for.

05

Step 5. Photo Updates on Every Work Day

Photos and notes from your project manager on each active work day, including the waterproofing before the tile covers it.

06

Step 6. Turnover

We walk the finished bathroom with you or your property manager, finish the punch list, and leave it clean and ready to use.

Local Know-How

Remodeling a Bathroom in South Baldwin

01

Condos and Rentals on the Beach

In Gulf Shores and Orange Beach we schedule around the rental calendar, get the association's approval before demolition, and follow building rules for elevators, parking, and work hours.

02

Newer Homes on Slabs

Most homes in Foley and the subdivisions off Highway 59 sit on a slab. Moving a drain means cutting concrete, and we price that up front when the design needs it.

03

Salt Air and Humidity

Within a few miles of the Gulf, cheap metal finishes pit and fans vented into the attic grow mold. We duct fans outside and steer you toward finishes that hold up near the water.

04

A Local Office

Our Foley office is at 105 W Camphor Ave #100A, Foley, AL 36535. Your project manager is local, so a question on site gets an answer the same day.

We remodel bathrooms in Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan, Elberta, Magnolia Springs, Summerdale, Robertsdale, Bon Secour, Lillian, Perdido Beach, Fairhope, and Daphne.

Accessible bathrooms are a regular part of our work, including VA SAH and SHA grant projects, so grab bar blocking and curbless drains are routine for our crews.

03

Built for Owners Who Are Not Here

Licensed, Insured, and Ready for Your Association

Our Foley office works under the same Alabama HBLB license #28471 and General Contractor License #60291 as our Theodore headquarters, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage.

Condo associations and property managers usually ask for a certificate of insurance naming them. We send it with the approval package, before anyone shows up with tools.
